Small Biz Labs, excellent new blog about small business researchSteve King and Carolyn Ockels of Emergent Research, together with Anthony Townsend of The Institute for the Future, have launched an excellent new blog, called Small Biz Labs

The description of the blog says:

Small Biz Labs is the research blog for Emergent Research’s ongoing project to identify, analyze and forecast the key social, business and technology trends that will impact small business formation and operations.

Central to this work is our partnership with Intuit and the Institute for the Future to produce the Intuit/IFTF Future of Small Business forecast report series.

The primary purpose of this blog is to point to and comment on studies, research, surveys and data sources related to small business.

I had the chance to work with Steve and Carolyn, when I served as an “expert” panelist for the Intuit Future of Small Business Report.  The process they led the panel through to develop input for the report was extraordinary.  I really enjoyed working with them, as I will enjoy reading their thoughts on this new blog.

Visit and bookmark Small Biz Labs. It’s a good way to stay up to date on research about the evolving small business market.
